To make memory, to testify, to shout strong, as every evening they do the 100 strokes of Maria Dolens, enough to wars, to the violence, to remember who is not more but above all who doesn't have a name as the Unknown Soldier. And' with this intent that the 30 choristers of the S. Ilario choir and the 158 young bandsmen of the Juvenile Gang Anbima of the Friuli Venezia Giulia together with their teachers they will introduce "War of Peace In memoriam 1918 - 2018."

A concert where the voices of choristers will tell the songs of the war had accompanied by young people since 11 to 18 years that will on purpose play music writings for these songs. Two deeply stricken territories from the Great War, to the epoch austro-ungarici territories, today Italian territories. But it is really to the presence of Maria Dolens, on the occasion of the centennial of the end of the Great War, that the two associations through the music, universal language, the men will remember, known and unknown, whatever their uniform. The artistic direction is of the M° Marco Somadossi while the choir is directed by the M° Antonio Pileggi.

Open continuously every day:

November to February: 9.00 - 16.30
March, October: 9.00 - 18.00
April to September: 9.00 - 19.00
Open Easter Sunday and Monday

Evening opening: : 16 June to 24 September for the ringing: 21:00-22:00

Last entry 30 minutes before closing time.

The bell rings every day at 8.30 pm standard time, at 9.30 pm summer time and every Sunday at 12 pm 

To allow the safe carrying out of some extraordinary maintenance interventions, for which the use of earthmoving vehicles is envisaged, the monumental area of the Foundation is closed to the public on 3-4-5 April 2024.

On 6-7 April the Foundation will be open with the usual times, visiting methods and entrance fees.

For the day of Monday 8th only, to allow the completion of the preliminary works, the external monumental area will be closed again.

On days of partial closure, we also inform you that the main building will remain open to visitors with free entry during normal opening hours (9.00-19.00).
