Maria Dolens and its Story
Don Silvio Franch was born in Colz on 22 February 1932 and ordained in Trento on 14 March 1959; he was a Bishopric delegate for Ecumenism, Interfaith dialogue and Culture.
He died in Trento on 12 April 2001 and was buried in the cemetery at Cloz.

November to February: 9.00 - 16.30
March, October: 9.00 - 18.00

Evening opening: : 16 June to 24 September for the ringing: 21:00-22:00
Last entry 30 minutes before closing time.
The bell rings every day at 8.30 pm standard time, at 9.30 pm summer time and every Sunday at 12 pm
To allow the safe carrying out of some extraordinary maintenance interventions, for which the use of earthmoving vehicles is envisaged, the monumental area of the Foundation is closed to the public on 3-4-5 April 2024.
On 6-7 April the Foundation will be open with the usual times, visiting methods and entrance fees.
For the day of Monday 8th only, to allow the completion of the preliminary works, the external monumental area will be closed again.
On days of partial closure, we also inform you that the main building will remain open to visitors with free entry during normal opening hours (9.00-19.00).
